harry-potter-hogwarts-express-fringed-wall-banner-burgundy
Harry Potter Hogwarts Express Fringed Wall Banner - Burgundy

Description

This Hogwarts Express wall banner shows the famous train steaming across a deep burgundy ground, picked out in pink, white and shimmering gold. The words HOGWARTS and EXPRESS frame the train in decorative lettering, and beneath the train come A MAGICAL JOURNEY and LONDON TO HOGWARTS, with a round PLATFORM 9¾ stamp to one side and little gold stars scattered across the field. The base is cut to a point and edged with a thick pale gold fringe, and a matching tassel with a round HOGWARTS charm hangs from one corner of the top. It measures 64cm high and 25cm wide.

Hung from its cord on a single hook or picture nail, it brings a piece of the Harry Potter story to a bedroom wall, a study, a reading corner or a games room. The burgundy and gold sit happily with dark wood, bookshelves and warm lamplight, and the tall, narrow shape fits the slim spaces other pictures cannot: beside a bookcase, on a door, or between two windows. We like it above a desk, where the journey from London to Hogwarts is always in view.

The banner is printed on the front with a plain cream back, and a burgundy band along the top holds the slim rod that keeps it straight, with the cord tied at each end. At barely 0.3cm deep it hangs flat to the wall. To care for it, dust gently with a soft dry cloth or a soft brush, and give the fringe and tassel a light shake now and then to keep them neat. It arrives ready to hang, which makes it an easy gift to wrap, and it looks its best hung slightly above eye level so the train and its lettering catch the light.

Specification

Colour

Burgundy

Height

64cm

Width

25cm

Depth

0.3cm

Weight

0.071kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the Hogwarts Express wall banner?

It measures 64cm high and 25cm wide, and at only 0.3cm deep it hangs flat against the wall.

How does the banner hang?

A cord is tied to each end of the slim rod across the top, so it hangs from a single hook or picture nail.

What colours is the banner?

The front is deep burgundy with the train and lettering printed in pink, white and gold, finished with a pale gold fringe and tassel.
