The tube is much longer than it is wide, so the fitting reads as a drawn vertical line. The bottom is left open and the lamp sits well up inside. Nothing is polished and there is no shade ring. It measures 12cm across.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA shade this small works better in a run of two or three over an island than alone in the middle of a ceiling, where it reads as an accent rather than the main light.
