halmarne-5-light-pendant-black
Halmarne 5 Light Pendant - Black

Description

The Halmarne is a five light pendant in black steel, with five slim cylindrical shades hanging at staggered heights from a round ceiling plate. It measures 150cm in overall height and 35cm in diameter, so it fills the space above a table without crowding the room. Each shade holds one E27 bulb of up to 60W. The bulbs are not included, which leaves the choice of shape and warmth to you. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

Over a dining table, the staggered shades give a cascade of light that looks good from every seat, and the round plate gathers all five drops into one tidy group rather than five separate fittings. It works just as well above a kitchen island or in an open-plan living room, where a single central light can look sparse. The black finish suits a monochrome or industrial scheme, and because each bulb sits bare beneath its shade, a decorative globe or filament bulb becomes part of the look. We think it suits anyone who wants one ceiling point to do the work of several lights.

The body is steel, finished in black, and there is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, so it answers to the light switch you already use. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains power and weighs 4.748KG packed. As a wired mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. When you choose bulbs, keep each one at 60W or less, and pick a globe or filament style if you want the bulb to show beneath its shade.

Specification

Overall Height

150cm

Diameter

35cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Black

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 5 x 60W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

4.748KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Halmarne pendant go in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20, so it belongs indoors in a dry room such as a dining room, kitchen or living room, away from water.

Which bulbs does it take?

Each of the five shades takes one E27 bulb of up to 60W.
