grandma-wraparound-verse-tapered-matt-stoneware-mug-white
Grandma Wraparound Verse Tapered Matt Stoneware Mug - White

Description

This stoneware mug carries a heartfelt verse for Grandma, printed in black typewriter-style lettering that runs right around its matt white body. The word Grandma sits in a soft pink handwritten script at each end of the verse, so the message opens and closes with her name. The words talk of a safe space, open arms, a cup of tea and a biscuit, kind smiles, warm hugs and the best advice, and they close with 'I love you to the moon and back'. The body widens gently towards a low foot, with a curved handle to one side, and the mug stands 8.5cm tall, 12.1cm wide and 10.2cm deep.

It makes a thoughtful Mother's Day gift for a grandmother, and the verse says the things that can be hard to fit inside a card. Because the words wrap all the way around, she can turn the mug in her hands and read the whole message over her morning tea. It sits happily on a kitchen shelf, beside the kettle or on the breakfast table, and the low, wide shape suits a slow cup of tea or coffee in her favourite chair. A grandchild choosing a present will find the words already written for them, from the safe space to the moon and back.

The mug is made from stoneware with a soft matt finish, and its white colour inside and out keeps the black verse and pink script crisp and easy to read. We suggest washing it by hand in warm, soapy water and drying it with a soft cloth to keep the printed words looking their best. For a gift, tuck a box of her favourite tea or a packet of biscuits alongside it, a fitting nod to the verse itself.

Specification

Material

Stoneware

Colour

White

Finish

Matt

Height

8.5cm

Width

12.1cm

Depth

10.2cm

Weight

0.357kg

Design

Grandma

Occasion

Mother's Day

Frequently Asked

How big is the Grandma mug?

It stands 8.5cm tall, 12.1cm wide and 10.2cm deep.
