grandma-floral-stoneware-cup-and-saucer-off-white-and-pink
Grandma Floral Stoneware Cup & Saucer - Off White & Pink

Description

This cup and saucer tells a grandma how much she means. 'GRANDMA' is lettered across the cup, with 'you fill my life with joy' running beneath it in a soft handwritten-style script. Made from stoneware, the cup is off white outside and gentle pink inside, with a pink handle and a pink foot that sits neatly in the well of its matching saucer. Yellow tulips, a blue bellflower and sprigs of pink blossom bloom around the cup, with little bumblebees and tiny stars between them. The saucer is scattered with small flowers and edged with a fine blue line. The cup holds 300ml, a proper cup of tea or coffee, and the set stands 10cm tall and 16cm across.

It makes a lovely Mother's Day gift for a grandma who deserves her share of the fuss, and an equally fitting thank you for all the help she gives. Because the words do the talking, it suits a grandchild who wants to give something heartfelt. At home it belongs wherever her favourite brew happens: on the kitchen worktop beside the kettle, on a breakfast tray, or on a side table for an afternoon cup of tea. The round cup is easy to cradle in both hands, and the saucer catches drips and gives a spoon somewhere to rest.

The design is applied as a decal, giving crisp lettering and bright flowers on the smooth off white stoneware. To keep the print looking fresh, we'd suggest washing the cup and saucer gently by hand in warm soapy water and drying them with a soft cloth. Between brews, the set is pretty enough to sit out on an open shelf or dresser, where the pink interior adds a soft flash of colour. For a gift, tuck a box of her favourite tea alongside it and add a handwritten note of your own.

Specification

Material

Stoneware

Colour

Off white & Pink

Finish

Decal

Height

10cm

Width

16cm

Depth

16cm

Weight

0.584kg

Capacity

300ml

Occasion

Mother's Day, Thank You

Frequently Asked

How much does the cup hold?

The cup holds 300ml.
