grandad-is-my-favourite-person-bear-stoneware-mug-cream
Grandad Is My Favourite Person Bear Stoneware Mug - Cream

Description

This cream stoneware mug tells Grandad just where he stands, with "Grandad is my favourite person" lettered across the front, his name picked out in gold script over a soft wash of pale blue. Beside the words, a big bear and a little bear stand side by side beneath a glittering gold heart balloon, with a grey cloud and a scattering of tiny gold stars and hearts around them. Turn it round and there is a second message along the top of the handle: "Don't tell Grandma". It measures 8.5cm tall, 13cm wide and 12cm deep, with a squat, rounded body that narrows gently towards the rim.

It is a natural choice for Father's Day, when a grandchild wants to give Grandad something he will reach for every morning. The little secret on the handle makes it a gift with a smile built in, the sort of family joke that keeps going for years. It sits happily by the kettle at home, on a desk at work or beside his favourite chair, ready for a morning coffee or an afternoon cup of tea.

The mug is made from stoneware with a smooth, glossy cream glaze inside and out and a rounded loop handle. To keep the gold lettering and glittering heart looking their best, we would suggest washing it gently by hand with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then drying it with a tea towel. For a gift, wrap it with a card from the grandchildren, or tuck a bag of his favourite tea or coffee inside before you hand it over, so the first cup is ready to brew.

Specification

Material

Stoneware

Colour

Cream

Height

8.5cm

Width

13cm

Depth

12cm

Weight

0.366kg

Occasion

Father's Day

Frequently Asked

How big is the Grandad mug?

It measures 8.5cm tall, 13cm wide and 12cm deep, with a squat, rounded body that narrows gently towards the rim.

What is the mug made from?

It is made from stoneware with a glossy cream glaze, decorated with gold lettering, a pale blue wash, two bears and a glittering gold heart balloon.

What does the mug say?

The front reads "Grandad is my favourite person", and along the top of the handle there is a second message: "Don't tell Grandma".

Is this mug a good Father's Day gift for Grandad?

Yes, it makes a warm Father's Day gift from a grandchild, and the secret message on the handle usually raises a smile when he spots it.

How should I look after the mug?

We would suggest washing it gently by hand with warm soapy water and a soft cloth to keep the gold lettering and glitter heart looking their best.
