golden-ring-6-steel-1-electric-ceiling-canopy-gold
Golden Ring 6 Steel 1 Electric Ceiling Canopy - Gold

Description

The Golden Ring ceiling canopy is the round ceiling rose that Golden Ring pendants hang from. It is a flat disc 30cm across, finished in gold leaf with a warm, softly textured surface that catches the light in the room around it. On its underside sit six steel-cable points, spaced evenly near the rim, and one electrical cable entry at the centre: six steel cables to carry the weight and one electric cable to bring the power down. It gives no light of its own.

This is the ceiling half of a Golden Ring installation, the piece that joins the pendants to the wiring in your home. The pendants hung from it take their mains supply through it, so the canopy is where the light gets its power. The pendants themselves are sold separately, so plan them alongside the canopy. It is made for indoor use and carries no IP rating, so it belongs in a dry room: a living room, a dining room, a hallway or a study. We think it suits anyone planning a Golden Ring who wants a finished, gold ceiling end rather than a plain white rose.

The canopy is wired in to the mains, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install. The gold leaf runs over the face and round the edge, so the disc reads as one piece of gold from across the room, and the small fittings for the cables sit neatly on its surface without breaking up the finish. Before you order, check the ceiling has room for a disc 30cm across, and choose the pendants it will carry at the same time, as the canopy and the pendants come as separate pieces.

Specification

Finish

Gold Leaf

Diameter

30cm

Power

Mains, wired in by an electrician

Light

None of its own: it powers the pendants hung from it

Lead time

Made to order, usually delivered in 4 to 8 weeks

Frequently Asked

Does the Golden Ring ceiling canopy give any light?

No. It has no light of its own: the pendants hung from it take their mains supply through it, and they are sold separately.

How big is the Golden Ring canopy?

It is a round, flat disc 30cm across, so check your ceiling has a clear circle of that size where it will sit.

How many cables does the canopy take?

It has six steel-cable points spaced around the rim and one electrical cable entry at the centre: six steel cables and one electric cable.

How is the canopy installed?

It is wired in to the mains, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install.

Can the gold leaf canopy go in a bathroom?

No. It carries no IP rating and is for indoor use only, so it is for dry rooms only.

How long will it take to arrive?

It is made to order for you, so it is usually delivered in 4 to 8 weeks.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0729/8993/3835/files/01_lead_541be3d0-de55-40ad-b929-95d205a584d8.jpg?v=1791328013
