golanne-floor-lamp-black
Golanne Floor Lamp - Black

Description

The Golanne Floor Lamp pairs a slim black steel stem and a round black base with a two-tier shade: a tapered fabric drum in a soft natural beige, and beneath its rim a woven band of fine wooden strips set on the diagonal. It stands 153cm tall, the shade is 38cm wide and the base is 25cm wide, so it needs very little floor space. It holds one E27 bulb of up to 40W, which is not included, so you choose the warmth and brightness of the light yourself. Its IP20 rating settles where it lives: indoors, in dry rooms.

We see it as an evening lamp for a living room, a bedroom or a quiet corner of a study. The fabric softens the bulb into an even glow, while the open weave of the wooden band lets a little light escape at the lower edge of the shade, which gives the lamp a gentle, textured look whenever it is lit. The black stem keeps the eye on the shade, and the natural tones sit comfortably beside linen, pale wood, wicker and soft neutral walls. It suits anyone who wants a relaxed, natural look beside a sofa or armchair without a bulky lamp taking over the room.

The body is steel, and the shade combines fabric with wood, giving two textures in one shade. A foot switch sits on the cable near the floor, so you turn the light on and off with a tap of your foot instead of reaching beneath the shade. It runs at 220 to 240V, 50/60Hz, and the packed weight is 5.446KG. The installation instructions come as a PDF download. Before you order, measure the spot you have in mind: the base needs a circle 25cm wide and the shade is 38cm wide, so a corner or the gap beside a chair is usually enough.

Specification

Height

153cm

Diameter

38cm

Base Diameter

25cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Black

Shade Material

Fabric, wood

Shade Colour

Nature, brown

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 40W

Switch

Foot switch

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

5.446KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Golanne floor lamp go in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs in dry indoor rooms such as a living room, a bedroom or a study.

Is a bulb included?

No, the bulb is not included.
