god-child-animal-142ml-iron-baby-mug-with-gift-box-pewter
God Child Animal 142ml Iron Baby Mug with Gift Box - Pewter

Description

This little baby mug is a christening keepsake for a godchild, finished in a polished pewter colour that catches the light. The words GOD CHILD run across the front in clear capitals, surrounded by a cheerful parade of nursery animals: a sitting teddy bear, a spotted giraffe, a rabbit with a bow, a striped zebra, along with a smiling star and a small heart. It is a round mug with a tankard-style body that widens towards a stepped foot, and a generous loop handle on one side. It stands 7.5cm tall, 9cm wide and 7.5cm deep, and holds 142ml.

We see it as a gift from a godparent on the day of a christening, something to stand on a nursery shelf or windowsill and be kept for years to come. It suits a little one from birth up to three years old, and the friendly animals give it a gentle, playful feel that sits happily in a child's room without being fussy. Being small, it fits on a display shelf, a dresser top or in a keepsake cabinet beside a christening photograph, and it will look just as good there when the child is grown and the mug has become a reminder of the day.

The mug is made from iron and steel with a bright, polished finish, and it arrives gift boxed, ready to hand over on the day. To keep it looking its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth, wipe it with a slightly damp cloth when it needs more, and dry it straight away. It is a keepsake rather than an everyday cup, so we would give it a place out of reach of little hands at first, then a spot on the child's own shelf as they grow. For a christening, we like it given with a card from the godparents: a gift that will mean something years later.

Specification

Material

Iron, Steel

Colour

Pewter

Height

7.5cm

Width

9cm

Depth

7.5cm

Weight

0.25kg

Contents

142ml

Occasion

Christening

Frequently Asked

How big is the God Child baby mug?

It stands 7.5cm tall, 9cm wide and 7.5cm deep, and holds 142ml, so it is a small mug sized for a little one.

What is the mug made of?

It is made from iron and steel, with a polished pewter-coloured finish that gives it a bright, silvery look.

What does the decoration show?

The words GOD CHILD run across the front, with a teddy bear, a giraffe, a rabbit, a zebra, a smiling star and a small heart around them.

Who is this mug for?

It makes a thoughtful christening gift for a godchild, and suits a little one from birth up to three years old.

Does it come in a gift box?

Yes, it arrives gift boxed, so it is ready to give on the day of a christening without any extra wrapping.

How do I care for the mug?

Dust it with a soft dry cloth and wipe it with a slightly damp cloth when needed, drying it straight away to keep the finish bright.
