fruits-gingham-polyester-table-runner-sage
Fruits Gingham Polyester Table Runner - Sage

Description

This table runner carries a hand-painted lemon design scattered across a soft sage gingham check, and it comes in two lengths, 180cm and 220cm, both a slim 35cm wide. It is woven from 100% polyester, which is why it holds its colour and resists creasing better than a natural fibre would. The lemons sit in loose pairs with their leaves, painted in a watercolour style so the yellow reads bright against the pale green and cream check beneath.

A runner like this is made for the length of a dining or kitchen table, laid down the centre to frame a place setting or a group of dishes. The 35cm width leaves room on either side for plates and glasses without the runner disappearing under them. The shorter 180cm suits a four-seat table, while the 220cm reaches across a longer six-seat one. Because the fabric is rated for indoor or outdoor use, it works as well on a garden table for lunch in the sun as it does on the kitchen table indoors, and it wipes down and washes clean when a meal gets messy.

The fabric is woven rather than printed onto a flat sheet, which gives the runner a bit of body and makes it hard-wearing across repeated use. It is machine washable, so a spill at the table is no cause for worry. Polyester also dries quickly once washed, so the runner is ready to go back down before the next meal. If you want a matching table, the supplier makes Fruits Lemons placemats in the same design, so the runner and the mats can be laid together for a coordinated look across the whole surface.

Specification

Material

100% Polyester

Design

Hand-painted lemon print on gingham check

Construction

Woven, suitable for indoor or outdoor use

Size

180x35cm to 220x35cm

Washing

Machine washable

Country of origin

Frequently Asked

How long is the table runner?

It comes in two lengths, 180cm and 220cm, both 35cm wide.
