fresh-sea-salt-glass-scented-candle-590g
Fresh Sea Salt Glass Scented Candle 590g

Description

Our Fresh Sea Salt scented candle is a generous size: 590g of soy paraffin wax poured into a grey glass vessel 11.5cm across and 12cm tall, with three cotton wicks and a lid that sits on top between burns. The glass shades from a paler grey near the rim to a deeper grey towards its thick base, and its glossy finish catches the light from a lamp or a window even before the wicks are lit. The maker gives a burn time of 60 hours, so it is a candle for lighting again and again rather than a one-off.

Three wicks spread the flame across the wide surface of the wax, which makes this a candle for the rooms where people gather: the coffee table in a living room, the middle of a dining table, a sideboard or a hallway console. It suits a bedroom chest of drawers or a bathroom shelf just as well, and the name Fresh Sea Salt points to a coastal, airy feel that sits easily with linen, pale wood and stone. At this size it also makes a thoughtful gift for a housewarming, a birthday or a thank you, and with its lid in place it looks complete on a shelf even when it is not burning.

The wax is soy paraffin, the three wicks are cotton and the vessel is glass, and the whole candle weighs 0.96KG. Glass is easy to wipe clean with a soft dry cloth, and keeping the lid on between burns keeps dust off the surface of the wax so it looks fresh each time you light it. For styling, stand it on a small tray or a stoneware plate with a few pieces of driftwood or a sprig of dried grass, or group it with smaller candles along a mantelpiece, where the glossy grey glass reflects the flames of its neighbours.

Specification

Height

12cm

Diameter

11.5cm

Material

Soy Paraffin, Cotton wick, Glass

Colour

Grey

Weight of wax

590g

Burn time

60 hours

Weight

0.96KG

Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended

Frequently Asked

How long does the candle burn?

The maker gives a burn time of 60 hours for this candle, which holds 590g of soy paraffin wax.

How big is it?

It is 11.5cm across and 12cm tall, and the whole candle, glass vessel included, weighs 0.96KG.

What is it made of?

The wax is soy paraffin, the three wicks are cotton and the vessel is glass with a glossy grey finish.

Does it come with a lid?

Yes.
