fox-pumpkin-and-leaf-rattan-wreath-39cm-orange-and-brown
Fox, Pumpkin and Leaf Rattan Wreath 39cm - Orange & Brown

Description

This rattan wreath sets a seated fox at the foot of a ring of russet leaves, orange berries and two small woven pumpkins, bringing warm woodland colour to a wall or an inside door. The fox has a bristly ginger coat, a cream face and chest, a cream tip to its bushy tail and bright black eyes and nose. Leaves in orange, deep red and gold gather on both sides with feathery sprigs of pale grass, while the top of the brown ring is left bare so its twiggy texture shows. It measures 39cm, with orange and brown leading and the fox's cream face adding a lighter note.

We like it on a hallway wall, where it greets anyone coming in from a cold walk, or hung on the inside of the front door. It sits just as well above a mantelpiece, a sideboard or a console table in a living room, or on a kitchen wall. The woodland look suits cottage-style rooms with painted panelling and warm wood, and it brings a lift of colour to a plainer, modern room as the evenings draw in. With the centre of the ring left open, the fox is framed by the wall behind it and reads clearly from across the room.

A cord loop is tied around the top of the ring, so the wreath hangs from a single hook, nail or over-door hanger, and its tidy back sits neatly against a wall or door. It is made with plastic, with the leaves, berries, grass and pumpkins arranged around the fox and ready to hang. Dust it gently now and then with a soft dry cloth or brush, and store it somewhere dry when you take it down. Hang it above a basket of logs for a cosy corner; it is a cheerful piece to give as well as to keep.

Specification

Material

Plastic

Colour

Orange & Brown

Weight

0.287kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the fox wreath?

It measures 39cm, a size that sits comfortably on a hallway wall, above a sideboard or on the inside of a door.

How does the wreath hang?

A cord loop is tied around the top of the ring, so it hangs from a single hook, nail or over-door hanger.

What is the wreath made from?

This is a rattan fox wreath made with plastic.
