His hat is picked out in soft yellow and his collar in pink, while some stars are touched with gold. Across the lower cloud runs the line DREAM big little one, in bold capitals and a light handwritten script. Two slim dark hands turn from a small centre boss, with no numerals to crowd the design, so the whole face reads as one gentle picture. It measures 22cm tall and 3cm deep.

Hung on a nursery or child's bedroom wall, it gives a soft, cheerful focal point above a chest of drawers, a changing unit or a low shelf. Because the face carries no numbers, it works as much as a picture as a timepiece, and the reflective silver brightens a pale wall by day. At just 3cm deep it sits close to the wall, so it suits a small room where every bit of space counts. The wording makes it a sweet fit for a little one's room, and it is as happy on a landing or in a playroom where a touch of whimsy is welcome.

The clock runs on one AA battery, which is not included, so keep one to hand and it will be ready to set as soon as it goes up. Dumbo and the little clouds are raised in relief from the shiny silver face, and the clock is made in Italy. To keep the shine, dust it with a soft dry cloth and steer clear of abrasive cleaners or polishes, which can dull it. As a gift it is one to unwrap and hang straight away: a gentle picture for a little one to look up at now, and a clock to learn the time by later.

Specification

Colour

Silver

Finish

Shiny

Height

22cm

Depth

3cm

Weight

0.55kg

Battery

1 x AA (not included)

Design

Dumbo

Frequently Asked

How big is the Dumbo cloud wall clock?

It measures 22cm tall and 3cm deep.
