flermanne-linear-pendant-light-gold
Flermanne Linear Pendant Light - Gold

Description

The Flermanne linear pendant light hangs three faceted gold shades in a row from a single slim ceiling bar, so one fitting lights the full length of a table. Each shade is an open geometric cage of angled steel panels set in a pointed, pear-like silhouette that lets the bulb show through the gaps. The body is steel in a gold-coloured finish, and the whole fitting measures 80.5cm long, 20.5cm wide and 110cm high overall. It takes three E27 bulbs of up to 60W each, and it is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in dry rooms.

We think it sits best over a dining table, a long breakfast bar or a kitchen island, where three points of light spread along the surface rather than pooling in one spot. Light escapes through the gaps between the panels, so the faceted shapes stay clear and lively once the bulbs are lit. It suits industrial lofts with brick and timber as readily as warmer modern dining rooms, and the gold finish sits comfortably beside black chairs, dark metal and natural wood. Because the bar runs in a straight line, it also helps mark out an eating area within an open plan space.

The shades and the ceiling bar are steel, a strong, rigid metal, finished in gold. There is no switch on the fitting; it is switched at the wall, so it runs from the light switch already in your room. It works on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains power, and as a wired-in ceiling light it should be installed by a qualified electrician. Bulbs are not included, so you will need three E27 bulbs of up to 60W each; clear filament bulbs suit the open shades well. The installation instructions come as a download, and the packed weight is 4.126KG, which is worth knowing for whoever carries the box indoors.

Specification

Length

80.5cm

Width

20.5cm

Overall Height

110cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Gold-coloured

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 3 x 60W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

4.126KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can this pendant light hang in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is meant for dry indoor rooms such as dining rooms and living spaces, never bathrooms or anywhere near water.

Which bulbs does it take?

It takes three E27 bulbs, one in each shade, at up to 60W each.
