flermanne-faceted-pendant-light-31cm-gold
Flermanne Faceted Pendant Light 31cm - Gold

Description

The Flermanne is a gold pendant light with a faceted shade of gold-coloured steel. The shade is cut into a pattern of angled panels and open triangles that narrows to a point at the top. It hangs from a slim black cord beneath a matching gold ceiling rose. It is 31cm in diameter and 110cm tall overall, a comfortable size for a single pendant over a table or a kitchen island. It takes one E27 bulb of up to 60W, and the bulb is not included, so you choose the colour and style of light yourself. Its IP20 rating means it belongs indoors in a dry room, away from steam and splashes.

In a kitchen, a single Flermanne over an island or breakfast bar gives a warm gold accent against dark cabinets or pale walls, and two or three in a row suit a longer worktop. It sits just as well above a dining table or at the centre of a bedroom ceiling. Because the shade is open, the bulb stays partly visible through the panels, which makes it a good match for a decorative filament bulb. The gold-coloured finish brings warmth to monochrome and industrial schemes alike, and the geometric outline gives a plain room a clear focal point without taking any floor or table space.

The body is steel, a strong material that holds its sharp angles. The gold colour matches the ceiling rose for a tidy look from ceiling to shade. There is no switch on the fitting itself, as it is controlled from a wall switch. It runs at 220-240V, 50/60Hz, and its packed weight is 2.389KG. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Choose an E27 bulb of no more than 60W before fitting day, so it is ready for its first evening.

Specification

Overall Height

110cm

Diameter

31cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Gold-coloured

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 60W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

2.389KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Flermanne pendant go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means indoors and dry, so it belongs in rooms such as a kitchen, dining room or bedroom, away from water and steam.

Is a bulb included?

No, the bulb is not included.
