A single slender post rises from a round foot to the head, and the whole light wears a Corten finish, a warm rust brown that sits easily among planting, gravel and timber. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. It draws 2W and gives 134 lumens of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, which keeps foliage, brick and faces looking true to colour after dark.

It is rated IP65 and made for outdoor use, so it can stay out on a patio, along a garden path, beside a terrace or among the borders through the British weather. Standing 57.6cm high, it sits low beside a path or a step, and its modest output makes it a soft marker light rather than a floodlight: ideal for guiding guests to the door, lighting a seating corner or putting a gentle glow beside the barbecue on a summer evening. Because it runs on a rechargeable battery, there is no cable to lay across the lawn and no wiring to arrange before you place it.

Its construction is simple and practical: a single post and head in a Corten finish, a rust brown that looks at home against weathered timber, stone and evergreen planting all year round. Its battery charges by USB-C, and the light runs at 5V DC as a Class III fitting, so there is no transformer to hide in a flower bed. When it needs a top-up, charge it by USB-C and it is ready for another evening in the garden.

Specification

Finish

Corten

Height

57.6cm

Head Diameter

12.4cm

Light Source

Integrated LED

LED Power

2W

Luminous Flux

134lm

Colour Temperature

2700K

CRI

90

Power

Rechargeable battery, charged by USB-C

Voltage

5V DC

IP Rating

IP65

Protection Class

Class III

Lead time

Made to order, usually delivered in 4 to 8 weeks

Frequently Asked

Can the Firefly in the Sky bollard light stay outdoors?

Yes.
