ferro-glass-13-light-pendant-dark-bronze
Ferro Glass 13 Light Pendant - Dark Bronze

Description

The Ferro Glass pendant gathers a cluster of glass drops beneath a round ceiling canopy. Each drop hangs on its own slim dark cable at a different height, so the light falls as a loose, layered cascade. The body is steel and aluminium in a dark bronze finish, and the shades are brown-transparent glass with a warm amber tone. It stands 200cm tall overall and is 58cm in diameter. The light comes from integrated LEDs giving 370 lumens, so there are no separate bulbs to source. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.

Hang it over a dining table, in a stairwell or a tall hallway, or above a living room seating area where a long drop has the height it needs. It suits anyone who wants one ceiling light to do the work of several: the scattered drops fill a wide space with a soft glow, and the amber glass gives the light a honeyed cast. Because it is dimmable and its colour temperature can be adjusted, the same fitting gives clear, brighter light for a busy evening and a low, warm glow once the day is done. We think it works best where it can be seen from more than one side, so the staggered drops read as a cluster rather than a line.

There is no switch on the pendant itself: it is switched at the wall, and the remote control that comes in the box handles dimming and colour temperature from your chair. The remote takes a CR2032 coin cell. The pendant runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains and carries energy class E. As a wired-in mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. It weighs 7.43KG packed. Check your ceiling height before you order: at 200cm overall, this is a pendant for a room with generous height.

Specification

Overall Height

200cm

Diameter

58cm

Body Material

Steel, aluminium

Body Colour

Dark bronze

Shade Material

Glass

Shade Colour

Brown-transparent

Light Source

LED, integrated

Lumens

370lm

Dimmable

Yes

Features

Remote control included; Controlled by the remote; Adjustable colour temperature

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

Remote Control Battery

CR2032

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Energy Class

E

Weight (packed)

7.43KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Ferro Glass pendant go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs in indoor rooms that stay dry, never near water or in a garden.

Does it come with a remote control?

Yes, a remote control comes in the box.
