fenoullet-1-wall-light-brass
Fenoullet 1 Wall Light - Brass

Description

The Fenoullet 1 is a brass wall light built around an oval steel backplate, with scrolled arms curling out from the centre and strings of clear brilliant glass drops hanging from every curve. It measures 37cm tall and 29cm wide and stands 17.5cm out from the wall, a modest projection for a hallway or landing where people walk past it. It takes an E14 bulb of up to 25W, and the bulb is not included. Rated IP20, it is made for dry indoor rooms, so keep it away from bathrooms and outside walls.

This is a wall light for the rooms where you want a little sparkle: a hallway, a landing, either side of a bed, or flanking a dressing table mirror. The glass drops catch the light from the bulb and throw glints across the wall, while the brass finish brings warmth to pale paint or stone-effect walls. We think it suits a traditional home just as readily as a modern one that wants a touch of old-fashioned glamour. Hung in pairs, the lights frame a fireplace, a bed or a console table beautifully.

The body is steel in a brass finish, and the drops are clear brilliant glass, so the whole piece reads as warm gold and crisp sparkle. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall and runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains. As a wired-in light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a PDF download. Packed, it weighs 1.878KG. Before you order, measure the wall so the 29cm width sits comfortably between a door frame and any furniture nearby.

Specification

Length

29cm

Height

37cm

Projection

17.5cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Brass

Shade Material

Brilliant glass

Shade Colour

Clear

Light Source

E14 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 25W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

1.878KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can I use this wall light in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is meant for dry indoor rooms only, such as a hallway, bedroom or living room.

Which bulb does it take?

It takes an E14 bulb of up to 25W.
