felecia-striped-glass-christmas-tealight-holder-gold
Felecia Striped Glass Christmas Tealight Holder - Gold

Description

This round glass tealight holder is made for Christmas, 10cm across and 10cm tall, in 100% recycled glass. Its body is divided into vertical panels: broad stripes with a fine, grainy texture alternate with smooth stripes carrying an oxidised finish, which gives them a shifting, iridescent sheen. The overall colour is gold, and the rounded form draws in a little towards the rim, so the flame sits cupped inside the glass. At 0.248KG it is light enough to move about the table as the evening goes on.

We see it first on the Christmas dinner table. Set one beside each place setting, or group it with candlesticks and greenery on a tray on a coffee table or side table, where its round shape softens a cluster of taller pieces. At 10cm tall it sits low enough not to block anyone's view across the table, which matters over a long, talkative meal. Once the tealight is lit, the textured stripes glow warmly and the smooth stripes catch the light, so one small candle does a lot of work. Through December it also suits a windowsill, a mantelpiece or a sideboard where you want a little festive light.

The finish is oxidised, which is what gives the smooth stripes their changing sheen, while the textured panels between them look grainy and sparkle when the light falls across them. The two surfaces run in alternating bands from base to rim, so the pattern reads from every side of the table and there is no front or back to worry about when you set it down. For a fuller look, pair it with plain pillar candles in soft neutral tones and a few sprigs of fir, and let the gold carry the colour. The styling props shown are not included.

Specification

Height

10cm

Diameter

10cm

Material

100% Recycled Glass

Colour

Gold

Finish

Blue Oxidised

Weight

0.248KG

Frequently Asked

What is this tealight holder made of?

It is made from 100% recycled glass, with an oxidised finish on the smooth stripes and a grainy textured surface on the panels between them.

How big is it?

It is 10cm across and 10cm tall, a compact round size that sits easily beside a place setting or among other pieces on a tray.

What kind of candle does it hold?

It is a tealight holder, made to take a single tealight, and once lit the light glows through the textured stripes of the round glass body.

What colour is it?

It is gold, with smooth stripes carrying an oxidised finish that gives a shifting, iridescent sheen against the grainy textured panels.

How heavy is it?

It weighs 0.248KG, so it is light enough to move around the table or a shelf whenever you want to rearrange your display.

What is included?

You receive one glass tealight holder.
