fariolo-linear-pendant-light-sand
Fariolo Linear Pendant Light - Sand

Description

The Fariolo is a linear pendant light that hangs a row of slim, ribbed cylindrical shades from a long rectangular ceiling canopy. The body and shades are steel in a soft sand colour, a pale, warm neutral. The fitting is 96cm long, 14cm wide and 102cm high overall, and the shades drop on fine black cords to staggered heights, so the line reads as a gentle rhythm rather than a rigid row. Some of the shades hide their lamp inside the tube and let the light fall through the open base, while the rest hold a globe lamp on show beneath the shade. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.

A long canopy like this is made for a long surface, and a dining table is its natural partner: the light spreads along the table rather than gathering in a single pool. It works just as well over a kitchen island or a breakfast bar in an open-plan space. The mix of hidden and exposed lamps gives you both moods in a single fitting, a quieter downward glow from the closed tubes and a more decorative sparkle from the open globes. The sand finish sits happily with warm timber, oatmeal fabrics and plaster-toned walls, and it reads softer in a room than black or brass would.

Steel is strong and rigid, which is why the slim tubes keep their crisp outline and the fine vertical ribbing stays sharp along the full height of each shade. The canopy matches the shades in the same sand colour, while the black cords add a thin, graphic line between ceiling and table. The packed weight is 4KG, useful to know when you plan the job. As a wired mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download so they can be read in advance.

Specification

Length

96cm

Width

14cm

Overall Height

102cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Sandy

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Weight (packed)

4KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Fariolo pendant go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means indoors in dry rooms only, so it suits a dining room, kitchen island or living space rather than a bathroom or anywhere damp.

How big is the Fariolo linear pendant?

It is 96cm long, 14cm wide and 102cm high overall, with the shades hanging at staggered heights beneath a long rectangular canopy.

What material is the pendant?

The body and shades are steel, finished in a soft sand colour, with fine vertical ribbing along each cylindrical shade and black cords.

Which rooms suit a linear pendant like this?

Its long canopy suits a dining table, a kitchen island or a breakfast bar, where the light spreads along the surface rather than gathering in a single spot.

Do all the shades look the same?

Each shade has the same ribbed cylindrical form, but some hide their lamp inside the tube while the rest leave a globe lamp on show beneath.
