fabiola-glass-table-lamp-with-linen-shade-blue
Fabiola Glass Table Lamp with Linen Shade - Blue

Description

This table lamp pairs a glossy blue glass base with a cylindrical linen shade, and the base is what makes it: a stack of rounded glass rings that steps in from a wide foot to a narrow neck beneath the shade. The whole lamp is 51cm tall and 24cm across, and the shade is 30cm tall and the same 24cm across, so the lamp reads as one neat column rather than a small base under a big hat. That height makes it a full side-table lamp, not a small accent light, and it weighs 1.3KG.

We like it on a side table beside an armchair, on a sideboard or on a console in the living room, where the blue glass brings colour to an otherwise quiet spot. Linen shades soften and spread the light, which suits a relaxed evening. The cable is 180cm long, which gives you room to place the lamp some way from a socket. The switch sits on the cord, so you can turn it on without reaching under the shade. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

It takes an E27 bulb, which is not included. The maker sets the maximum at 40W incandescent, 5W LED or 9W CFL, so pick an E27 bulb within those limits when you order. Glass wipes clean easily, and the maker's care advice for the lamp is simply to wipe it clean with a moist cloth. The maker's assembly instructions come as a PDF download. For styling, it sits well against warm neutral walls, pale wood and woven rattan, where the glossy blue glass and the textured linen give each other contrast; the styling props shown are not included.

Specification

Height

51cm

Diameter

24cm

Material

Glass, Linen

Colour

Blue

Bulb fitting

E27

Maximum bulb

: Incandescent: 40W / LED: 5W / CFL: 9W

Bulb included

No

Cable length

180cm

Cable colour

Black

Switch

On cord

IP rating

IP20

Shade size

Height 30cm, Diameter 24cm

Care

Wipe clean with a moist cloth

Weight

1.3KG

Downloads

Assembly instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What bulb does this lamp take?

It takes an E27 bulb, which is not included.
