ewan-stoneware-cups-150ml-set-of-4-multi
Ewan Stoneware Cups 150ml Set of 4 - Multi

Description

These are four handleless stoneware cups, each holding 150ml and measuring 7.5cm across and 9cm tall. Every cup is split into two blocks of colour: a wider glossy band around the rim sits over a slightly narrower lower section in a contrasting shade, so the set reads as multicoloured on the table while each cup keeps its own pairing. At 150ml this is a cup rather than a mug, the right size for a flat white, a cup of tea, juice at breakfast or water at the bedside.

They belong on the breakfast table and the kitchen counter, and they earn their place when friends come round for coffee: hand one to each guest and nobody mixes up whose is whose. Stoneware is a dense material, so it holds the warmth of a hot drink well. Because the lower section is narrower than the rim band, the cups nest one inside the next and stack into a neat column, which suits a small kitchen with limited cupboard space or an open shelf where you want the colour on show. They also make neat little pots for yoghurt, fruit or a scoop of ice cream at the dining table.

Each cup is 100% stoneware with a reactive glaze. Reactive glazes move as they fire, so the finish can vary a little from cup to cup. Care is simple: the cups go in the dishwasher, and they can also go in the microwave and the oven, which is handy for warming a drink or baking a small pudding. The set is the four cups only; the styling props shown are not included. For a relaxed table, mix them with plain plates and let the cups carry the colour, or stack all four on a tray beside the kettle so they are ready whenever needed.

Specification

Height

9cm

Diameter

7.5cm

Sold as

Set of 4

Material

100% Stoneware

Colour

Multi

Finish

Reactive glaze

Capacity

150ml

Dishwasher safe

Yes

Microwave safe

Yes

Oven safe

Yes

Food safe

Yes

Weight

1KG

Frequently Asked

How much do the cups hold?

Each cup holds 150ml, which makes it a cup for a flat white, tea or juice rather than a full-size mug.

Can they go in the dishwasher and the microwave?

Yes.
