emergency-light-148-8cm-white
Emergency Light 148.8cm - White

Description

Our Emergency Light is a long, slim linear ceiling light with a white plastic body and a white plastic diffuser that runs its full length, finished with grey clips along each side. It measures 148.8cm long, 8.5cm wide and 8.1cm high, so it suits long stretches of ceiling where one fitting needs to light a lot of floor. Integrated LEDs give 7,600 lumens at 4000K, a crisp neutral light that keeps a working space bright. It is rated IP65, which means it is sealed against dust and protected from jets of water, so it can live outdoors on a house wall as well as indoors.

That rating makes it a natural choice for the places where ordinary ceiling lights struggle: garages, workshops, utility rooms, cellars, covered porches and outbuildings, where damp and dust are part of everyday life. It also suits a bathroom, where a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone. For anyone fitting out a garage or a hobby space, a single long fitting puts plenty of light over a workbench or a parked car, and its plain white body sits quietly against a painted ceiling.

There is no switch on the light itself: it runs at 220-240V, 50/60Hz and is switched at the wall, so it works from the room's existing light switch. Because it is a wired mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician. The LED and driver can be replaced by a specialist, so the fitting need not be thrown away when they reach the end of their life. Plastic does not rust, which matters in a damp garage or shed. It carries an energy class of C and weighs 1.96KG, and the installation instructions are available as a download, so your electrician can read them before the work begins.

Specification

Lumens

7,600lm

Colour Temperature

4000K

Body Material

Plastic

Body Colour

White

Shade Material

Plastic

Shade Colour

White

IP Rating

IP65

Light Source

LED, integrated

Energy Class

C

Length

148.8cm

Width

8.5cm

Height

8.1cm

Weight

1.96KG

Replaceable Parts

LED and driver replaceable by a specialist

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Emergency Light be used outdoors?

Yes.
