Together they stand 28.5cm tall on an 18cm foot. The stand is turned in rings that step outward to a wide flat disc, and the glass sits into the top of it.

Eighteen centimetres across the base under 28.5cm of height gives a pillar candle a good deal of glass above it, so the flame sits well down inside the shade. At 1.325kg the weight is nearly all in the wood.

The base is mango wood, turned by hand, and the glass is recycled: waste glass collected, washed, crushed and melted down before it is blown or moulded again. The tone of the wood varies through a single piece. The candle is not included.

Specification

Height

28.5cm

Diameter

18cm

Material

Mango Wood & Glass

Colour

Natural

Finish

Natural

Weight

1.325kg

Frequently Asked

How big is it?

28.5cm tall and 18cm across.

Does the glass come away from the base?

Yes. Warm water with a mild dish soap clears wax; dry it straight away and do not soak it. An edible oil rubbed into the wood protects it and will darken the tone. Indoor use only. It gets hot in use, so stand the candle securely, keep it out of reach of children, let it cool fully before handling it, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0729/8993/3835/files/EL0401_01_packshot_hero_9acdd990-525f-4498-ab14-7914e191c87f.jpg?v=1790867880
