elie-checked-rag-dolls-set-of-2-multi
Elie Checked Rag Dolls Set of 2 - Multi

Description

This multicoloured set of two soft rag dolls pairs a sleeping rabbit with a sleeping elephant, and each one comes tucked into its own checked sleeping bag with a fine lacy edging. Both have closed eyes, a soft knotted nightcap and a little romper, spotted on the rabbit and striped on the elephant, so they look as if they have just dozed off. The fabric is 80% polyester and 20% cotton, with a 100% polyester filling, and they measure 15cm tall, 11.5cm long and 5cm wide: small enough to hold in one hand and to carry in a bag without taking up much room.

Because the dolls lift out of their bags, a child can tuck them in and take them out again, which turns a pair of soft toys into a small bedtime game of putting someone else to sleep. They sit neatly on a nursery shelf, a chest of drawers or a reading nook in a children's room. As a pair they suit two siblings who would each like one, and they make a birthday or christening gift that feels personal without being fussy. Light and compact, they also come along easily on visits and overnight stays.

The fabric is woven and the sleeping faces are embroidered. Care is straightforward: they go in the washing machine at 40 degrees, can be tumble dried on low and take a medium iron, which helps if the flat sleeping bags come out of the wash creased. The styling props shown are not included. For display, lay the two side by side on a folded blanket or across a pillow on a made bed, with the dolls tucked in up to their chins, so the checked bags and nightcaps read as a small bedtime scene.

Specification

Width

5cm

Length

11.5cm

Height

15cm

Sold as

Set of 2

Material

80% Polyester, 20% Cotton, Filling: 100% Polyester

Colour

Multi

Finish

Woven fabric, Embroidered

Recommended age

From birth

Washing

Machine Wash 40 Degrees

Drying

Tumbler Low

Ironing

Medium

Weight

0.05KG

Frequently Asked

What are the rag dolls made of?

The fabric is 80% polyester and 20% cotton, woven and finished with embroidered faces, and the filling inside is 100% polyester.

Can the dolls be washed?

Yes.
