The body is plastic in a clean, bright white, and each arm finishes in a silver-coloured mounting plate fitted with a screw, with a brass contact tab set into its side. It measures 20.9cm long, 12cm wide and 2cm high, figures worth having to hand while you plan the spacing of your track. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.

A T connector is the part that lets a track layout branch. Where one straight run would light only a single line across the ceiling, this joiner lets you send track in three directions from one point, so spotlights can reach a dining table, a reading corner and a picture wall in the same room. It suits a living room, dining room, hallway, bedroom or study, and anyone who wants their lighting to follow the shape of the room rather than a single straight line. The white finish sits quietly against a white ceiling.

The plastic body forms the T, and each arm carries a brass contact tab. It runs on a 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains supply and weighs 0.235KG packed. Like the rest of a wired-in track system, it is installed by a qualified electrician. In white, it sits most comfortably alongside white track. Before you order, sketch where your runs will meet, so you know how many T junctions your layout needs.

Specification

Length

20.9cm

Width

12cm

Height

2cm

Body Material

Plastic

Body Colour

White

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

0.235KG

Frequently Asked

Can the T connector go in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is for indoor use in dry rooms only, such as living rooms, hallways and bedrooms.

How big is the T connector?

It measures 20.9cm long, 12cm wide and 2cm high, and it weighs 0.235KG packed.
