easyt-track-t-connector-black
Easyt Track T Connector - Black

Description

The Easyt Track T Connector is a black plastic junction that joins three lengths of Easyt track at one point, so a single run can branch two ways. It is T-shaped, with a straight main body and a shorter arm leaving it at a right angle, and each of the three ends finishes on a silver plate. It measures 20.9cm long, 12cm wide and just 2cm tall, so the join stays slim and low against the ceiling. It runs at 220-240V, 50/60Hz, and it is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room.

A T connector is the part you need when one straight track cannot reach every spot you want to light. Where a kitchen run meets a breakfast bar, or a living room track needs to branch towards a reading chair, it lets you build one connected layout instead of several separate tracks. In black, it suits a black track and reads as a clean, deliberate line across a pale ceiling. For a hallway, a bedroom or a dining room, it gives a track layout the freedom to follow the room.

The body is black plastic, and a small copper-coloured contact sits on the side of each of the three arms. The silver plates at the ends give the connector its fixing points. Packed, it weighs 0.23KG. As with any mains track, it is installed by a qualified electrician. Count the junctions in your layout before you order, since you need one T connector at every point where the track splits three ways.

Specification

Length

20.9cm

Width

12cm

Height

2cm

Body Material

Plastic

Body Colour

Black

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

0.23KG

Frequently Asked

Can this T connector go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means indoors in a dry room only, so it suits living rooms, kitchens, hallways and bedrooms rather than bathrooms or outdoor spaces.

How big is the Easyt T Connector?

It is 20.9cm long, 12cm wide and 2cm tall, a slim profile that keeps the junction low against the ceiling.

What material is the connector?

The body is plastic in black, and each of its three arms ends on a silver plate where it fixes to the ceiling.

What voltage does it take?

It runs on mains power at 220-240V, 50/60Hz, which covers the standard household supply in a UK home.

How many lengths of track does it join?

Three.
