The wall is thick and the rim rolls over at the top, leaving an opening 38cm across. A reactive glaze runs over the outside in browns that pool dark and glossy in places and dry to a pale, pitted surface in others, with a band of heavier, rougher glaze running down one side and the same glaze carried over the inside of the rim.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis is the largest of the three Dunai sizes. At 44cm across and 38cm at the opening it takes a shrub, a small tree or a full herb planting rather than a single plant, and at 7kg empty it is not something to move once it has soil in it. It has drainage holes and is made for outdoor use, and a stopper comes with it for the holes when it stands indoors. All three sizes group together on a path, standing directly on the ground rather than on feet.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe body is ceramic, moulded into shape by hand in Vietnam, and the reactive glaze is applied before it goes into the kiln.
