dumbo-gift-boxed-porcelain-mug-with-gold-handle-white
Dumbo Gift Boxed Porcelain Mug with Gold Handle - White

Description

This white porcelain mug carries Dumbo in fine black sketched line drawings, with his name lettered in gold across the side. On one side the little elephant sits in his hat and ruffled collar with his great ears spread out around him; on the other he sits with his trunk raised high. A gold rim runs around the lip and the handle is gold too, so the black and gold stand out crisply against the white. Look inside and there is one more surprise: DUMBO is printed in bold black letters on the base, ready to appear as the last sip goes. It is a round, straight-sided mug, 8cm tall, 12cm wide and 8.5cm deep.

It makes a lovely gift for a Dumbo fan of almost any age, from a child of three or more who adores the little elephant to a teenager or grown-up who has loved him for years. It comes gift boxed, so it is ready to hand over just as it is. At home it is just right for a morning tea or coffee at the kitchen table, a hot chocolate at the end of the day or a cuppa on the desk while you work. Between drinks it looks every bit as charming on an open shelf or a dresser alongside your other favourite pieces.

It is made from porcelain, with gold on the rim, the handle and the lettering on the side. As with any gilded porcelain, we would wash it by hand in warm soapy water and dry it with a soft cloth, and keep it out of the microwave, since metallic trim and microwaves do not mix. Skip scouring pads too, as they can wear the gold over time. For a thoughtful finishing touch, tuck a few sachets of their favourite hot chocolate inside before you hand it over, and it becomes a present they will reach for again and again.

Specification

Material

Porcelain

Colour

White

Finish

Printed

Height

8cm

Width

12cm

Depth

8.5cm

Weight

0.27kg

Capacity

320ml

Contents

350ml

Design

Dumbo, Dumbo

Frequently Asked

How big is the Dumbo mug?

It stands 8cm tall, 12cm wide and 8.5cm deep, a neat round mug that sits comfortably on a desk, tray or shelf.

What is the mug made of?

It is made from white porcelain, with a gold rim, a gold handle and Dumbo's name lettered in gold on the side.

Is there anything printed inside the mug?

Yes, DUMBO is printed in bold black letters on the inside base, so his name appears as you finish your drink.

How should I wash this mug?

As with any porcelain with gold trim, we recommend washing it by hand in warm soapy water and keeping it out of the microwave to protect the gold.

Does the mug come in a gift box?

Yes, it comes gift boxed, so it is ready to give straight away to a Dumbo fan of three years and up.

Who would this Dumbo mug suit?

It suits Dumbo fans from three years up, from children who love the little elephant to teenagers and grown-ups who have adored him for years.
