The wood is left light and matt and the grain shows along the neck, so it reads as the one warm material against the chalky white below. The dome curves out to a wide open rim and is lined in warm cream, which shows as a bright ring from underneath. A fine white cable runs up from the knop. The shade is the largest of its form. It measures 39cm across.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt suits a table, an island or a hallway, hung low enough to be looked at rather than into. Hang it so the bottom of the shade sits about 80cm above the surface, a little higher if people walk beneath it rather than sit under it.
