Green fern fronds and fine wiry sprays make the body of it, with pale green grass plumes, wheat coloured stems, dusty pink flower spikes and small cream seed heads worked in between. The outline is open, with stems running well past the edge, and the centre is left as an irregular opening rather than a true circle.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt 55cm across this is a full sized wreath, for a wall, a chimney breast or the inside face of a door. It is for indoor use only, made to hang inside rather than out in the weather. On a plain wall the stems that run past the edge show against the flat surface behind them. At 9cm deep it stands well clear of the wall.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe frame is made from panchu sticks wound by hand into a circle, with natural bark fibres worked through them for strength. Every botanical element is then arranged and fixed by hand, using preserved grasses and foliage chosen for tone, texture and how long they last.
