dramenne-9-light-pendant-black
Dramenne 9 Light Pendant - Black

Description

The Dramenne is a nine light pendant in black steel, built as a branching frame of slim arms that reach out in different directions, each finishing in an open E27 socket. It hangs on a cable from a round ceiling canopy and measures 110cm tall overall and 64cm in diameter, so it fills the space over a dining table without feeling heavy. It carries an IP20 rating, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

We see it working best over a dining table, where nine points of light spread across the table rather than pooling in one spot, and it sits just as well in a living room where the ceiling has some height. Because the sockets are open, the bulbs are always on show, so the bulb you choose becomes part of the design: clear globe filament bulbs keep the look airy, while frosted ones give a gentler glow. It suits anyone who wants one fitting to do the work of several, giving a room a strong centre point in a black finish that sits comfortably with wood, white walls and grey textiles.

The branching frame is steel with a black finish, and there is no switch on the fitting itself: it is switched at the wall, from the room's own light switch. Each of the nine E27 sockets takes a bulb of up to 60W, and bulbs are not included, so choose nine to suit the mood you want. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains, and the packed weight is 3.69KG. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a PDF download.

Specification

Overall Height

110cm

Diameter

64cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Black

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 9 x 60W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

3.69KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Dramenne pendant hang in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room, so we would not place it in a bathroom or anywhere near water.

Which bulbs does it need?

It takes nine E27 bulbs of up to 60W each, and bulbs are not included, so you choose the style and colour of light yourself.

How big is the pendant?

It measures 110cm tall overall and 64cm in diameter, so it suits a dining table or a room with some ceiling height.

Does the light have its own switch?

No, there is no switch on the fitting.
