dracera-17-light-linear-pendant-light-black
Dracera 17 Light Linear Pendant Light - Black

Description

Dracera is a 17 light linear pendant in black steel, made for a long table or a wide room. A slim oval canopy carries seventeen fine black cords, and each one ends in a curved, leaf-shaped steel shade, black on one face and gold on the other, floating over a small black dome that holds the LED. The pendant light is 155cm long, 33cm wide and 220cm high overall. The light source is integrated LED, 17 lights at 2.3W each, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room.

The natural home for it is above a long dining table, where the oval canopy follows the line of the table and the shades hang at staggered heights, filling the space between ceiling and tabletop. It suits a kitchen island or a generous open plan living room just as well. Each light gives 280lm at 3000K, a warm light, so rather than one bright glare you get a gentle scatter of small glows, and the gold faces of the shades pick up that warmth. We like it most where people linger, because the leaf shapes give the eye something to follow long after the plates are cleared.

Both the body and the shades are steel, the body in black and the shades in black and gold, and the single black canopy keeps the ceiling tidy where all seventeen cords meet it. The LEDs are dimmable, and there is no switch on the light itself, so it runs from your wall switch. Its energy class is E. It weighs 12.5KG packed. As a wired mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a PDF download, so you can share them with your electrician ahead of the fitting day.

Specification

Length

155cm

Width

33cm

Overall Height

220cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Black

Shade Material

Steel

Shade Colour

Black, gold

Light Source

LED, integrated

Wattage

17 x 2.3W

Lumens

280lm per light (17 lights)

Colour Temperature

3000K

Dimmable

Yes

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Energy Class

E

Weight (packed)

12.5KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can I hang the Dracera pendant in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it suits dry indoor rooms only, so a bathroom, a damp space or a spot outdoors is not right for it.

How big is the Dracera linear pendant?

It is 155cm long, 33cm wide and 220cm high overall, a good match for a long dining table or a kitchen island.

Does it need bulbs?

No bulbs are needed.
