dilbette-pendant-light-black
Dilbette Pendant Light - Black

Description

The Dilbette is an oval ring pendant light in black: a slim steel band that hangs level beneath a black rectangular ceiling canopy on four fine suspension wires. The ring is 78cm long and 30cm wide, and the pendant has an overall height of 110cm. Set into the underside is a white plastic diffuser over integrated LEDs, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 27W and gives 4,000 lumens at 3000K, a warm white. We see it as a pendant for dry rooms indoors, where it can do the work of a main light.

Its long, narrow shape suits a dining table, spreading light along the length of the table rather than dropping a single pool in the centre. It works just as well over a long desk in a home office or a sideboard in a living room. Because it is dimmable, you can run it bright while the table is laid and served, then bring it down to a softer glow once the plates are cleared. The black band and white face sit comfortably in a modern scheme and pair well with dark table legs, black picture frames and pale walls.

The body is steel finished in black, and the white plastic diffuser spreads the LEDs into an even band of light rather than a row of bright points. There is no switch on the light itself, as it is switched at the wall. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz, carries energy class D and weighs 2.317KG packed. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Measure your table before you order: at 78cm long, the ring sits best with room to spare at each end.

Specification

Length

78cm

Width

30cm

Overall Height

110cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Black

Shade Material

Plastic

Shade Colour

White

Light Source

LED, integrated

Wattage

27W

Lumens

4,000lm

Colour Temperature

3000K

Dimmable

Yes

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Energy Class

D

Weight (packed)

2.317KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Dilbette pendant go in a bathroom?

We recommend it for dry indoor rooms such as a dining room, living room or home office, rather than a bathroom or anywhere outdoors.

Is the Dilbette pendant dimmable?

Yes, it is dimmable, so you can lower it to a softer glow in the evening.
