desaris-brass-semi-flush-ceiling-light
Desaris Brass Semi Flush Ceiling Light

Description

The Desaris is a semi flush ceiling light made from brass, built around a flat oval plate that sits a little below a round ceiling mount. From the centre of the plate, a knurled lampholder holds a single bulb open to the room, so the plate frames the bulb and catches its glow. It is 9cm tall, 21cm wide and 15cm deep, a compact fitting that keeps close overhead. We offer it in four finishes: Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver and Satin Brass. Bulbs are sold separately: it takes one E27 bulb, up to 60W per bulb.

Its low height suits a hallway, where a hanging pendant can feel in the way and a fitting that stays near the ceiling keeps the space clear. The single open bulb gives a simple, direct light, and the oval plate adds a little shape without taking up room. Choose Polished Brass for a bright warm shine, Satin Brass for a softer sheen, Antique Brass for an aged tone, or Antique Silver for a cooler metal. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

Every Desaris is made to order for you in Ireland, from brass, and finished in the option you choose. It is a mains fitting, wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered. As a practical note, keep the bulb you choose to an E27 fitting at no more than 60W, the most this light takes. Our photographs show the Polished Brass finish.

Specification

Finish

Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver & Satin Brass

Material

Brass

Height

9cm

Width

21cm

Depth

15cm

Light Source

1 x E27 (bulb not included)

Max Bulb Wattage

60W per bulb

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Warranty

5 years (manufacturer)

Lead time

Made to order, usually delivered in 3 to 5 weeks

Frequently Asked

Does the Desaris come with a bulb?

No, bulbs are sold separately.
