A round port is cut through the back of the upper bay to take cables. The wood is sand blasted for texture, so the grain stands out of the surface and no two doors read alike.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt 145cm it takes a television on the top with room either side, and the open bay is sized for whatever has to stay in the line of sight of a remote control: a box, a console, a hub. Cables drop through the port at the back of that bay rather than over the front edge. The two cupboards take what does not need to be seen.
