dalvorne-glass-floor-lamp-satin-bronze
Dalvorne Glass Floor Lamp

Description

The Dalvorne Glass Floor Lamp is a single slim column of light: a clear ribbed glass cylinder 150cm tall and 12cm across, set between a round iron base and an iron top cap. We offer it in two finishes for the base and cap, satin bronze or black, with the ribbed glass column common to both. It takes one G13 lamp, which is not included, so you choose and buy the lamp separately. The ribbed glass carries the light along the full height of the column. It is not dimmable, so it is a simple on and off lamp and not one to use with a dimmer.

At 150cm tall it stands well beside a sofa or an armchair, in the corner of a living room or bedroom, or at the end of a hallway. Being only 12cm across, the column keeps a slim upright line, and it sits as comfortably in a panelled period room as in a plainer modern one. It comes with a UK plug, so it plugs into an ordinary wall socket. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The maker states it is for indoor use only. It suits anyone who wants a glowing column of light in a room rather than a directed reading lamp.

The base and top cap are made of iron, in satin bronze or black, and the column is ribbed glass. The satin bronze version has a brushed, warm tone that sits well with timber panelling, walnut and brass, while the black version gives a crisper outline against pale walls. Since the light comes from the lamp you fit, choose a G13 lamp whose colour of light suits the room. For styling, we like it standing a little away from the wall beside a deep armchair, where the glass reads as one bright vertical line.

Specification

Colour

Bronze & Black

Finish

Satin Bronze & Black

Height

150cm

Diameter

12cm

Light Source

1 x G13 (lamps not included)

Dimmable

No

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Plug

UK Plug

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What bulb does the Dalvorne floor lamp take?

It takes one G13 lamp.
