That is low, lower than a dining chair, and the back leans away rather than standing upright, so it is a chair to read in rather than one to work at. It takes the corner of a sitting room, the foot of a bed or a place beside a low table.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe frame is acacia and the leather is buffalo hide, a natural by-product, dyed with vegetables and tree bark. The hide is tan, and in our photographs it reads as a deep chestnut, with the creases and grain of the skin left showing and the tone shifting across the panel.
