crelvette-crystal-effect-led-flush-ceiling-light-55cm-white
Crelvette Crystal Effect LED Flush Ceiling Light 55cm - White

Description

The Crelvette is a round LED flush ceiling light, 55cm across and only 7cm deep, so it sits close to the ceiling and keeps headroom clear. A white steel body carries a white plastic diffuser with a crystal effect: fine flecks set through the shade catch the light and give the surface a gentle sparkle. The LED is integrated, drawing 50W and giving 5,900 lumens at 3000K, a warm light. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms.

That much light from a single fitting makes it a good choice for larger rooms that need generous light: a living room, a dining room, a big bedroom or a study. The warm white tone keeps a room comfortable in the evening, and the slim profile helps where ceilings are on the low side and a pendant would get in the way. Because the LED is integrated, there is no bulb to buy or change, and the wide diffuser gives a soft, even glow across its face. We like it in rooms with plain white walls, where the crystal effect adds a little interest overhead without any fuss.

There is no switch or dimmer on the light itself: it is switched at the wall and is not dimmable, so it suits an ordinary on and off switch rather than a dimmer. The body is steel, and the packed weight is 2.275KG. Its energy class is F. As a hard-wired mains light, it should be fitted by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Before you order, measure the ceiling: at 55cm across, it needs a clear stretch away from beams and coving.

Specification

Height

7cm

Diameter

55cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

White

Shade Material

Plastic with crystal effect

Shade Colour

White

Light Source

LED, integrated

Wattage

50W

Lumens

5,900lm

Colour Temperature

3000K

Dimmable

No

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Energy Class

F

Weight (packed)

2.275KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Crelvette go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means indoors in dry rooms only, so we would not place it in a bathroom or anywhere near water.

How bright is this ceiling light?

It gives 5,900 lumens from an integrated 50W LED, which is plenty for a larger living room, dining room or bedroom.

What colour is the light it gives?

The LED gives 3000K, a warm light, which suits relaxed evenings and rooms where you want a cosy rather than clinical feel.

Is the Crelvette dimmable?

No, it is not dimmable.
