clenette-clear-glass-linear-pendant-light-chrome
Clenette Clear Glass Linear Pendant Light - Chrome

Description

The Clenette is a linear pendant light with three clear glass globes hanging in a row from a chrome bar. Inside each globe sits a chrome inner shade, so you see a mirrored centre through the clear outer glass, a double layer that gives the pendant real depth. The body is steel in a chrome finish, and the whole fitting is 78cm long, 19cm wide and 110cm high overall. Each globe takes an E27 bulb of up to 40W, and bulbs are not included, so the colour and warmth of the light are yours to choose. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room.

A linear pendant is made for a long surface, and at 78cm long the Clenette suits a dining table, a kitchen island or a breakfast bar, where three pools of light spread along the length work harder than a single central pendant. The chrome and clear glass suit a modern kitchen or dining room, and they sit just as comfortably against a warm wooden tabletop. It suits anyone who wants good light for meals and conversation without a heavy, opaque shade closing off the view across the table.

The fitting has no switch of its own; it is switched at the wall, so it works from a standard wall switch. It runs on 220-240V mains at 50/60Hz, and as a wired-in mains light it is installed by a qualified electrician. The installation instructions come as a download, and the packed weight is 3.819KG. Because bulbs are not included, buy three E27 bulbs of 40W or less, and choose all three in the same colour of white so the globes glow evenly along the bar.

Specification

Length

78cm

Width

19cm

Overall Height

110cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Chrome

Shade Material

Glass

Shade Colour

Clear

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 3 x 40W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

3.819KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Clenette pendant go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry indoor rooms such as a dining room or living room, well away from water.

What bulbs does it take?

Each of the three globes takes an E27 bulb of up to 40W.
