citrus-abstract-polyester-cushion-multi
Citrus Abstract Polyester Cushion - Multi

Description

This outdoor cushion carries a bold watercolour print of citrus fruit across a soft pink ground: a halved orange showing its segments, a whole lemon, an orange with a stippled rind, a fig and a sliced kiwi, all threaded through deep green foliage. The reverse switches to a coordinating block stripe in pink and white, so the cushion reads two ways depending on which face you turn out. It is made from 100% polyester and measures 43 x 43cm, a standard square that suits most scatter arrangements.

It is built for outside. Polyester is water resistant, and the supplier states this cushion is designed to withstand showers and spills, so it is at home on a garden bench, a rattan sofa, a patio chair or a windowsill that catches the weather. The pink ground and fruit motif sit happily against greenery and stone, and the print is loud enough to lift a plain bench without needing anything else beside it. That said, it plays well in a group, layered with plain brights in yellow, lime or teal for a summer scheme.

The cover closes with a hidden zip, which keeps the seam clean and lets you take the cover off when you want to. Polyester holds printed colour well and resists fading, which matters for a piece meant to live in daylight, and the fabric shrugs off the odd shower rather than soaking it up. The block stripe reverse means one cushion gives you two looks, print or stripe, without buying a second. Designed, printed and made in the UK.

Specification

Material

100% polyester

Design

Watercolour citrus print, block stripe reverse

Construction

Hidden zip closure, water resistant

Size

43 x 43cm

Country of origin

United Kingdom

Frequently Asked

Can this cushion stay outside?

It is made from water resistant polyester and the supplier states it is designed to withstand showers and spills, so it suits garden and patio use through the warmer months.

What is on the back of the cushion?

The reverse carries a coordinating block stripe in pink and white, so you can turn out either the fruit print or the stripe depending on the look you want.

How big is the cushion?

It measures 43 x 43cm, a standard square scatter size that layers easily with other cushions on a bench, sofa or chair.

Does the cover come off?

Yes, there is a hidden zip closure along one edge, which keeps the seam tidy and lets you remove the cover when you need to.

Will the colour fade outdoors?

Polyester holds printed colour well and resists fading, which is why it is a common choice for pieces meant to spend their time in daylight.
