chevery-cushion-cream
Chevery Cushion - Cream

Description

The Chevery cushion is a square cream cushion with a raised pattern of nested diamonds across its front. The cover is 100% cotton, with an open, textured weave you can see and feel, and the diamonds are worked in soft tufted bands with loose, fringed edges that stand proud of the cloth. It measures 50cm long and 50cm wide, a generous size that sits comfortably against the back of a sofa or an armchair. The cream is a warm, soft neutral rather than a stark white.

This is a cushion for the living room, the bedroom or a reading corner, anywhere indoors that could use a little texture. Because the colour is so quiet, it works with almost any scheme: it softens dark leather or grey upholstery, layers neatly with other neutrals on a bed and brings depth to a plain sofa without adding a new colour to the room. The fringed diamonds catch the light from a window or a lamp and give the front a relaxed, crafted look, so one cushion carries a fair amount of interest by itself. We like a pair at either end of a sofa for a tidy, balanced arrangement.

The cover is supplied without a cushion pad, which lets you choose the fill and firmness you prefer; a 50cm square pad is the size that fits. Care is simple: the cover is spot clean only, so treat a small mark on its own area rather than the whole cover. Now and again, plump the cushion and smooth the tufts back into place by hand to keep the fringing neat and full. Pair it with a good pad and it is ready for the sofa.

Specification

Colour

Cream

Cover

100% cotton

Filling

100% polyester

Details

Supplied without a cushion pad

Care

Spot clean only

Length

50cm

Width

50cm

Weight

0.81KG

Frequently Asked

Does the Chevery cushion come with a pad inside?

No. It is supplied without a cushion pad, so you can pick your own fill; a 50cm square pad matches the cover.

How big is the cushion?

It measures 50cm long and 50cm wide, a square size that suits a sofa, an armchair or a bed.

What material is the cover?

The cover is 100% cotton, with tufted, fringed bands forming a nested diamond pattern across the front.

How should I clean the cover?

The cover is spot clean only, so treat any small mark on its own area rather than cleaning the whole cover.

What shade of cream is it?

It is a warm, soft cream rather than a bright white, so it sits happily with other neutrals, greys and natural wood.
