Where the two glazes meet the white thins into a band of soft khaki over a fine rust-coloured line. The rim is faintly uneven and the handle is a deep round loop with room for more than one finger.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEach mug holds 325ml. At 8.7cm across it is a little wider than it is tall, which keeps the weight low and the mug steady on a tray, a desk or a breakfast table. The handle stands well clear of the side, so the hand is not against the wall of the mug while a hot drink is in it. Two come in a set.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe clay is speckled stoneware.
