celian-wooden-kitchen-roll-holder-black
Celian Wooden Kitchen Roll Holder - Black

Description

Our Celian kitchen roll holder is a tall cylinder of black paulownia wood, 14.5cm across and 25.5cm tall, with a slot running the full height of the front. A roll of kitchen paper drops in through the open top and sits over an upright rod at the centre. The roll stays enclosed, and you draw each sheet out through the slot. Paulownia is a remarkably light timber, and the holder weighs just 0.3KG, so lifting it to change the roll takes no effort at all.

It belongs on the kitchen worktop, next to the sink, where a sheet of paper is often wanted in a hurry. At 14.5cm across it stands on a small patch of counter. Because the roll sits inside the cylinder rather than on an open stand, it looks tidy even when the roll is half used. It is just as handy in a utility room, on a craft table for glue and paint spills, or on a workshop bench. The black suits anyone who prefers wood to chrome or plastic on show. It works whether your kitchen has dark fittings to match or a pale worktop to stand out against.

The holder is a round, open-topped tube with the slot cut down the front and the rod standing upright inside it. The grain of the paulownia shows through the black, so it reads clearly as wood up close. Turn the slot to face you, or angle it to one side if you would rather the opening sat out of view. For a considered look, stand it on a round stone or wooden board with a few other worktop pieces in natural tones, letting the black give the group a strong anchor. The kitchen paper and the other styling props shown are not included.

Specification

Height

25.5cm

Diameter

14.5cm

Material

100% Paulownia

Colour

Black

Weight

0.3KG

Frequently Asked

What is the kitchen roll holder made of?

It is made of 100% paulownia, a remarkably light timber.
