It is 70cm across and 30cm tall. The height comes from long cedar sprays that trail down past the ring on every side. The needles carry a frosted look, as if caught by a cold morning, and small cones are tucked in among the branches. The composition is 85% polyethylene, 10% iron and 5% polyester, and it weighs 0.87KG. Polyethylene is a plastic, so unlike cut greenery it will not dry out.

At 70cm across it has the presence of a small chandelier. That makes it a good choice above a table, in a stairwell, or from an exposed beam in a living room or hallway. It comes with its hanging string, 70cm long, which runs in three strands from points around the ring up to a single join at the top, so the wreath hangs level. Hang it from a ceiling hook or a beam and plan the drop with that 70cm of string in mind. It suits anyone who wants Christmas greenery overhead rather than only on the door or the mantelpiece. It looks as much at home in a pared back modern room as in a cottage with old timbers.

The branches are fixed around a wrapped ring that gives the wreath its round shape, and the string attaches at three points around it. With no lights or ribbon on it, the finish is quiet and natural: the frosted needles and the cones do the decorating. For the fullest look, let the longest sprays fall freely rather than tucking them up. Hang a few paper stars at different heights nearby so the wreath is not alone overhead.

Specification

Height

30cm

Diameter

70cm

String

Length 70cm

Material

85% Polyethylene, 10% Iron, 5% Polyester

Colour

Green

Weight

0.87KG

Frequently Asked

How big is the cedar wreath?

It is 70cm across and 30cm tall.
