casetto-clamp-lamp-black
Casetto Clamp Lamp - Black

Description

The Casetto is a clamp lamp in black, made for the times when a desk has no room left for a lamp base. A spring clip grips the edge of a desk or shelf, a flexible gooseneck arm rises from it, and a round LED panel head sits at the top, giving 340lm of light. It stands 49.2cm tall, 10.3cm long and 9.5cm wide. The IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors and dry, so it suits a study, a bedroom or a living room rather than a bathroom or anywhere outdoors.

Because it clamps rather than stands, the Casetto takes up almost no surface space, which makes it a good choice for a small home office, a student's desk or a crowded shelf where every centimetre counts. Bend the gooseneck to put the light exactly where the work is: over a keyboard, across the pages of a book or down onto a sketch. At 340lm, this is a focused task light rather than a room light, so it pairs well with a ceiling light and gives you a pool of brightness just where your hands are.

The body is black plastic, and the black runs from the clip to the rim of the head, so it sits quietly against a pale desk or a dark one. Its packed weight is 0.412KG, so moving it from one desk to another takes a moment. The clip opens with a squeeze and grips the edge, while the gooseneck lets you angle the head as the task changes. The installation instructions come as a download, so a quick read before first use is worthwhile. Before you fix the clip in place, pick a spot where the cable runs neatly and the head can be angled away from your eyes.

Specification

Length

10.3cm

Width

9.5cm

Height

49.2cm

Body Material

Plastic

Body Colour

Black

Lumens

340lm

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Weight (packed)

0.412KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can I use the Casetto clamp lamp in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for dry rooms indoors, so it suits a study, bedroom or living room rather than a bathroom or anywhere outdoors.

How bright is the Casetto?

The round LED panel head gives 340lm, which works well as a focused task light for reading, writing or close work at a desk.

How tall is the clamp lamp?

It is 49.2cm tall, 10.3cm long and 9.5cm wide, and the flexible gooseneck lets you bend the arm to set the head where you need it.

What material is the body?

The body is plastic in a black finish, with the black carried through the spring clip, the gooseneck arm and the round head.

How heavy is the Casetto?

Its packed weight is 0.412KG, so it is easy to lift from one desk and clip onto another whenever your work moves.

Are installation instructions available?

Yes, the installation instructions come as a download, and they are worth a quick read before you first use the lamp.
