carousel-horse-resin-money-box-with-top-slot-10-5cm-pink
Carousel Horse Resin Money Box with Top Slot 10.5cm - Pink

Description

This carousel money box gives a little one a special place to keep their first coins. It is made from resin and finished in soft pink. It takes the shape of a fairground carousel, with a pointed canopy striped in pink and white, a round cream knob at the very top and a scalloped cream trim edging both the roof and the base. Around the round body, white carousel horses with pale blue manes and tails prance on striped poles, and a ring of tiny raised dots circles the pink base. The coin slot sits in the canopy, so savings drop in from the top. It stands 10.5cm tall and 9.5cm across, a neat size for a shelf, a windowsill or the top of a chest of drawers.

We think it suits a nursery or a little one's bedroom, where the gentle pink, white and cream sit happily alongside pastel walls, soft bedding and other keepsakes. It makes a thoughtful gift for a baby or toddler up to three years old, and a sweet way to begin a savings habit: grandparents, aunts and uncles can add a coin whenever they visit, and the savings grow along with the child. It is a keepsake to look at and treasure rather than a toy, so we would place it on a shelf out of reach of small hands.

Made from resin, it has a smooth finish with raised detail on the horses, the poles and the scalloped trims, and its round base sits flat on a shelf or dresser. To keep it looking fresh, dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it gently with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. For a gift, we like to tuck a shiny first coin inside before wrapping, so the very first saving is already waiting when the paper comes off.

Specification

Material

Polyresin

Colour

Pink

Height

10.5cm

Width

9.5cm

Depth

9.5cm

Weight

0.256kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the carousel money box?

It stands 10.5cm tall and measures 9.5cm across and 9.5cm deep, so it sits neatly on a nursery shelf or windowsill.

Where do the coins go in?

The coin slot sits in the striped canopy at the top of the carousel, so coins drop in from above.

What is the money box made from?

It is made from resin with a smooth finish and raised detail on the carousel horses, the poles and the scalloped cream trims.

What colours is it?

It is soft pink, with a pink and white striped canopy, cream scalloped trims and a cream knob on top, and white horses with pale blue manes.

Who does it suit as a gift?

It makes a thoughtful keepsake for a baby or toddler up to three years old, best kept on a shelf as a decoration rather than played with.

How do I clean it?

Dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it gently with a slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away afterwards.
