A large glass globe turned with a fine spiral flute, the ribs running from the collar down and round to the base so the surface catches light in soft diagonal bands. The glass is a warm rose pink, translucent rather than opal, so it reads as a soft blush unlit and glows warm when the lamp is on. A polished brass cap sits over the top of the globe like a shallow dish, with a short brass stem and a white cable above it. It is the largest of its form. It measures 30cm across and the same in height, in glass and metal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt suits a table, an island or a hallway, hung low enough to be looked at rather than into. Hang it so the bottom of the shade sits about 80cm above the surface, a little higher if people walk beneath it rather than sit under it.
