caminia-table-lamp-sand-brushed-brass
Caminia Table Lamp - Sand & Brushed Brass

Description

The Caminia is a slim steel table lamp in a sand finish with a brushed brass accent, made to throw a directed beam rather than a wide glow. A round base carries an angled stem, and at the top sits a fluted cylindrical head ringed by a thin band of brushed brass, which tilts so you can point the light exactly where you want it. It stands 48.5cm tall, 21cm long and 17cm wide, on a base 17cm across, so it sits comfortably on a narrow desk or a bedside table. The light source is GU10, rated at 4.7W and 345lm, and with an IP20 rating the lamp belongs indoors, in rooms that stay dry.

Because the head focuses its light instead of spreading it, the Caminia suits places where light needs to land on something: the page of a book at the bedside, papers on a home office desk, or a plant or picture on a sideboard that deserves a little attention in the evening. The sand colour is a soft neutral that sits easily beside pale wood, linen and muted greens, while the brushed brass band adds warmth without shouting. We think it suits anyone who wants a focused light that still looks considered when the lamp is not in use, and its small footprint leaves room for a book, a glass and a phone.

The body is steel, a strong and rigid metal, and the fluting runs the full length of the head, giving it a ribbed texture that catches light along every groove. A cord switch sits on the cable, so you can turn the lamp on and off from the table top without reaching for the head. The installation instructions are available as a download. As a practical tip, angle the head slightly away from eye level so the light falls on your book or desk rather than into your eyes.

Specification

Length

21cm

Width

17cm

Height

48.5cm

Base Diameter

17cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Sandy, brushed brass

Light Source

GU10 (bulb included)

Wattage

4.7W

Lumens

345lm

Switch

Cord switch

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Energy Class

F

Weight (packed)

1.489KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Caminia table lamp go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for indoor rooms that stay dry, such as a bedroom, living room or study, and not for bathrooms or outdoor spaces.

Does the head of the lamp adjust?

Yes.
