The glaze is a dark red brown at the rim and again at the foot, with a creamy wash over the middle that breaks into a ragged run of drips where the two meet. Fine dark flecks carry down through the cream, and the top of the lid is speckled the same way.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt is made for a kitchen: sugar on the table, or dried goods on a shelf. The lid is loose, sitting down onto the rim rather than screwing or clipping into place.
